December 6th is...

ST. NICHOLAS DAY!

And that means...

Having a yummy crepe breakfast with Sarah and Emily.

Finding presents in our shoes.

Watching Miracle on 34th Street, making yummy fudge, loving this festive German holiday...

and almost burning down my original Kathe Wolfahrt Pyramid! Yikes!

I LOVE you and all your fun traditions! And I love that you gave Em and Sarah rafia! Ha! I have one of those German Kathe Wolfahrt Pyramids too, from Grant. I just didn't know that's what it was called. Oh and I love your dishes, and your trees and well, everything! I think I might rip off your little countdown candy thing I saw in the background. We have one of those chocolate advent calendars but the chocolate tastes like gasoline so I'm not lovin' it! ;)

What a fun tradition. I need to start doing some of my family traditions again now that I have a little one to do them all with.

I'm afraid to light my pyramids. I guess I'm mostly afraid of burning the wall. I guess it sort of defeats the purpose of having them if you don't light them. Hmmm. Fun traditions Melissa!
