It's official...we are moving

Do you remember that road trip we took to Manti a few weeks ago? Well, it was not a random trip like you may have thought. Brandon actually got a job offer to work for the city there and since his ultimate dream is to be a city planner, we felt like this would be a good starting place. We were able to check out some of the homes for sale there and surprisingly, they were all pretty affordable. These were the best of the best...

Life does not always turn out how we plan, but we look forward to this new adventure starting end of Summer 2009. Let us know if you have any house buying tips and which you like better...We are clueless.

I also like the 3rd one! Congrats on the move! It's funny b/c in one of your pics of main street, that's one of the salons Dirk use to visit. He would spend every-other week in that neck of the woods. Congrats! :)

that's very exciting, wow! that will be fun. I think any of the homes would be so nice, I'm so jealous of all that space... but from the outside, I LOVE the second one and really like the third too!

How exciting. So you are going to own a house before I do? I am so glad he got a job. I can testify to the fact that life takes you a lot of places you never planned!

Moving is so exciting! I love discovering new cities!

I love the second and fourth homes best. AND, just in case you didn't know - my job entails helping people buy homes all across the country. I even help people in UT. So, if you really want some expert advice (contract negotiations, inspection reports, repair requests, closing statements) and lending help (choosing a mortgage, etc) - email me tomorrow and we can chat. By the way? It's free :)

Go with one of the older homes, they have much more character! I have no real experience in home buying, just a lot of moving around during my childhood!

Wow. No way! That is exciting. I wish that we could afford a house here in SF. And with a yard too! They all look nice. Did you go through them all?

April fools! First, this was a convenient day for big "news." Second, I'm not sure but those don't look like Manti mountains in the background. Third, do you really have friends who leave comments on your blog that need to be deleted? I say you should move to Ukraine so I can visit you.

I really like the first four. I'm a sucker for brick so the first one might be my favorite but the rest look so cute and I love all the different structures. Good luck with everything! You two would look cute in any house.
