13 and counting...

This week Brandon and I celebrated our 13-month anniversary. We try do something every 23rd day even if its something small. Brandon sure outdid himself this time. I came home exhausted and found this on the door:

In case you can't tell what it is, its a Halloween decoration for the door. I have already admitted once that i LOVE holiday decorations, but I thought it was so thoughtful of him. We had seen it a few weeks ago and I told him I thought it was cute. He remembered that I liked it and the thoughtfulness was what I loved the most.

Then I walked into the kitchen and found this:

I have a stash of cards and he had searched through all of them to find the perfect one.. It says 'liebe' on it which means love in German. I made this card with my good friend Jen while I was in Germany. He wrote a love note and again, my favorite part was that it was so thoughtful.

We have had so much fun being together lately. I am so glad I married him. He is so thoughtful and I know would do anything for me. This was us last night after ordering delivery pizza for the first time in our marriage. It was a big night! And our whole order only cost $5! Can't beat that for 2 pizzas and a cinnapie.

LIFE!

Well, I know I haven't posted in a while and I always do video posts but this one is only 6 minutes and I told you months ago that I would post it.

So for my Russian film class I had to make a movie for my final and of course it was in Russian. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to translate it and add subtitles. It took me months to getting around to doing it and I am so glad I did. I thought long and hard of what to do my movie on and listening to conference I heard the talk by President Monson, "Finding Joy in the Journey" So I made a movie on that theme. Life really is great and we should always remember to find joy everyday. The title of the movie is "Life" Let me know what you think!

The Only Good Part

of the BYU Game on Saturday was having our family come over for a pre-game BBQ. And wow. Brandon made some amazing BBQ.

labor day weekend was filled with lots of good things...a visit to Afton Wyoming,food, family, a baby blessing, a hike to Intermittent Springs (pics below), family pictures, an awesome BYU game, and a spontaneous bike ride that ended up at the grocery store.
