Oh Christmas Tree

(OUR CUTE PROVO APARTMENT IS FOR RENT starting NOW! For more details, click here and if you know of anyone needing an apartment by BYU, please let us know!)

What is it about Christmas trees when they are all lit up that makes them so MAGICAL? I would leave one up for the whole year if I could, but then again they probably wouldn't be very special anymore if I did.

It's tradition to sleep out to the lights of the Christmas tree at least once, and Brandon and I did the night before we had our own Christmas morning.

Now that its a new year, I figured I should probably take the tree down, but I got a little sad. Maybe because Christmastime is so wonderful. Or maybe because this will be our last Christmas in our first apartment as Mr. and Mrs. Sunday. Anyways, I wanted to sleep by it one more time, but since we had already started packing some of our stuff, there was NO room on the living room floor.

Then my husband had a grand idea. Take this tree

and bring it into our room. Why is it that I always get sick on New Years? I had a terrible cold and wanted a nice soft bed to sleep in, but that didn't stop us from sleeping to the tree lights one more night.

Yes, Brandon plopped the tree right in the middle of our room. Oh, so magical.

And now, to a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
