So New York

{I am sitting here in the JFK airport waiting for my flight. I thought this would be the perfect time to finish up blogging about my trip since when I get home I will just want to spend time with Brandon. The trip ended so awesome! Kyle was home the last day so it was fun to hang out with him. I loved all the girl time I got to have with Em. She is such a classy and sophisticated girl...but oh so fun. Here goes...}

You know you're in New York City when:

*You visit the LDS temple and its right next to retail stores.

*You see penny cabs lined up in the park waiting for customers.

*There is section of Central Park devoted to chess lovers. (I'm so glad I learned how to play chess before I came. Em and I had a very fun game.)

*It's 12:30 am outside, but you would never guess it because of all the people out.

*The price for a 1/2 gallon of ice cream is $7.89. Good thing it was on "sale"

*You see lots of famous movie sites like carriages and The Plaza from Home Alone on your way to the store

*You find the best things at a Saturday Street Fair. Fried oreos? I didn't try them, but I was tempted.

*You see lots of street performers, including this young little boy.
*You get to eat Chinese food at Riverside park (as to avoid the raccoons at night in Central Park)
*You get to indulge in a sinful dessert at home because Max Brenner is just not worth the hype

Thanks Em for such a memorable time! New York City is awesome. Until my next visit...I'll remember all the "SO NEW YORK" moments...xoxo
