from dismal to delightful...

this is a picture from the park across our street.
although it is beautiful in its own way, it was not helping us to feel very springy.

to remedy that, and put us in the springy mood, we colored some easter eggs.

and even had some visitors.


we felt much more cheery.

i just love spring colors.

and to top our weekend off, we got to go on a refreshingly long run right before General Conference started in prep for our 1/2 marathon at the end of this month.

I am feeling much more delightful. The snow may still keep coming, but my soul is rejuvenated after all the inspiring words we heard. I loved that conference was on Easter and to be reminded of the wonderful Atonement of our Savior. Sunday will come...and so will the sunshine.
